Expectations are where all your pain comes from. Expectations are where all your pain comes from. Now, as a human, we're obviously going to have expectations, especially things you think should be just a given, right? But then life gives us a different experience than our expectations, and how you deal with those is everything. What makes us miserable is expectations that aren't met. Well, if you have plenty of expectations, I promise you, people will not always be loyal. People will not always be loyal. Life will not be fair. Life will not be fair. The plan won't work. And the thing you thought will never end, will end. Those are givens. Those are givens. But it opens up something new if you're willing to open up. But if you hang on to it, the more you hang on, the more pain you have.
