Steps I took to secure my fully-funded scholarship in Canada. If you want to unlock fully funded scholarship, here are step to step guide that helped me secure mine. Stay with me. The first and first is to identify your area of specialization in your field of study. It usually stems from your undergraduate work, like what you did in your final year project. Then you go to Google, you have to type in for me, professors in that your area of specialization in any country of your choice. You have to like be versatile when you're seeking for scholarship. Extend your wings. Don't only say it's Canada, I must do Canada. Google is going to bring out the list of universities that have professors working in that your area of specialization. You will see list of universities first. Just write down the names of the universities. When you click on one university, you go to their faculty. Faculty means board of lecturers. This is research. You have to be research inclined when you're seeking for scholarships. You shouldn't wait for somebody to seek it for you because this is your interest. You have to look for what interests you. So when you see the list of these professors, you have to go through them one by one. You look for who is doing research on that your area of specialization. Make sure that that professor's work aligns very closely to what you want to do and to what you did in your undergraduate. That is very, very important because you may contact a professor and when that professor finally gives you an opportunity to an oral interview, you find out or the professor will find out that you do not have already existing knowledge in his field of research and that would be a waste of time for both you and the professor. So you shouldn't do that. The next thing to do, go and follow them on all their social media handles. Twitter account that is X. You see them on LinkedIn. Go through their profile, go to their followers list and see what exactly is happening there. Follow everybody, follow the students, his team. Follow them on LinkedIn and Twitter too. Follow everybody. You don't know who may be posting a beneficial update. Come back to the school website and check the two most recent publication, like two most recent articles and then read them. Make sure that it's truly aligns with what you want to do because you would be doing something similar. When you read this article and you feel like, this article does not sit right. I don't really understand this. You know that this person is not for you. Check for his email address. Check for the sponsors email there on the website. You're gonna see it. You have to like cold email them. And this this is where all those documents that you gathered earlier come in. Check them out.
