So this type of scholarship is for people who are ready or who have the potentiality of having these documents. Yeah, you don't really need to have the documents at hand for the fact you know that you are able or you can be able to get these documents in few months or even in few years, maybe in two or three years that you will be able to get these documents then this scholarship is for you. The first document there to get in place is your certificate, your BSC certificate. This is for people who always ask me, do we have undergraduate, do we not have undergraduate? This type of scholarship that I'm talking about now you have to have BSC certificate. Then the second one is your transcripts, academic transcripts. It doesn't have to be the official one for now. The only time you need and really need an official transcript is when you want to apply for admission. But because type of scholarship you have to secure a professor first. The professor is who is funding you. So you don't really need to show the professor the official one. That means if the official one is not ready. Why I prefer the official one is because many of you don't even know the actual course or some of you have the wrong results of yours, like you recorded your results wrongly. So why I always advise for the official one is so that what you present to your potential sponsor is what you will be putting for admission, what you'll be submitting for your admission. You get it? So that's why I advise for official one. But if you haven't gotten an official one, you can just list out the courses that you did from year 1 to your final year and then list out the scores and the grades and calculate the CGP yourself. Tell your potential sponsor that this is like a because why is transcript important? Potential sponsor needs to know the courses that you did from your year 1 to final year so as to know if you are capable to enroll for the MSc or BSc or if you need to do prerequisites. There are some courses, prerequisites courses, if you need to do them to be able to be a full student in this team or in this department. The third document you need is your academic CV. Academic CV is the third document you need. So I already made a video on how to create an academic CV, but I'm still going to make another detailed one showing you the format, the exact format and how you should be I'm going to make an like a more elaborated video on how to create an academic CV. Yeah, so these are the only three documents you need to secure a potential sponsor. This type of scholarship that I'm trying to introduce you to now. It is the only, they are the only three documents that you need to get a sponsor who is a professor or a lecturer in a university. Okay? People always ask me, what about IELTS? What about English exam? You don't need it to secure a sponsor. Do you get it? You don't need IELTS to secure a sponsor. The only time you need IELTS is when you want to apply for admission. When you want to apply for admission, that's when you need IELTS and some other official documents. But then there are schools that don't require you to submit your IELTS based on your country. Like I'm from Nigeria and so many schools, even this school that I am in, do not require you to submit IELTS. They believe that if you're coming from Nigeria or from that country, they believe that you people speak English there and all your classes were taught, sorry, all your classes were taught in English. So they don't require IELTS. But then some schools do. If you do not want to limit your chances, right, it is advisable to write IELTS. But if you don't have money to write IELTS, you can leave IELTS out and look for sponsors. When you find a sponsor, then you know that, oh, this sponsor or this sponsor's school requires IELTS, right? You know that you have secured the sponsor, then you can look for money. That is when the money for writing IELTS should be a problem to you. You can now look for money. You know you already have a bright future because you secure the sponsor, because when you secure a sponsor, the sponsor will tell you go and apply. Okay? Then you cannot look for money to write IELTS. You are not submitting the IELTS to your sponsor. You are not submitting it to the school for confirmation. So stick around more. I'm going to tell you how and the kind of conversations you have with your supervisor to be sure that you have secured the supervisor.
