In my opinion the difference between Claude and ChatGPT is just levels apart at the minute. I find now and what I always have found to be honest is that Chat GPT is really good for the conversational element of it. So you want it to give you an answer, you can trust it 90% of the time, but with other things you're always a bit wary of it. Claude on the other hand is completely different. If you want it to do a task or you're asking it for suggestions, it will genuinely give you constructive feedback on something. Or if you're trying to scheme up ideas or say for example you're trying to pick a niche or an offer for a business, using Claude is extremely helpful. It's just miles apart from chat GPT at the minute.
