Everybody is running out and buying a $600 Mac mini to run Cloudbot and I'm here to tell you you don't have to do that. What you can do instead is runmolder. A project from Cloud Flare, the company that safeguards the entire internet. Sets up a sandbox environment. So your AI agent your Cloudbot can run untrusted code securely in an isolated environment. Super robust authentication, zero trust access, so not only do you save money on a Mac mini, you are saved from people like this guy on Twitter, from hack all of your personal data. The best part is it has one click deployment. So you go to their project on GitHub, click on deploy the cloud flare. And it actually sets everything up for you. You just put in your antropic API key, find your gateway token. You set up all of these environment variables. It walks you through the process. You pair your device and then you have your working admin UI. It up with Telegram. I've given it access to my entire Obsidian notebook. I put it up on GitHub. I exported my chat to be cats to give it context. Like, I don't know why more people aren't doing this. The cloud floor has made it so easy.
