If I tell you guys a secret, we promise not to tell the brand. Um, I'll give you a few seconds to consider. This week's winner for brands that are crushing social media is Sazon. And they didn't do anything crazy, fancy or unheard of. They sent product to a creator who creates dried, crafty and super real content. She posts this video joking saying, "Clearly Sazon sent this to the wrong girl." And it gets 4 million views. With a dozen other videos, she has since posted about the brand ranging from like 20 to 450,000 views. And people are loving her. And now people are loving Sazon. The comments are full of never hearing about Sazon and now loving Sazon and wanting to shop with them. And now it kind of feels like she's becoming the face of this brand. Maybe that's a little dramatic right now, but I wouldn't be surprised if it happens in the future. The takeaway is simple here, brands are not reaching out to creators enough. There's so many chances for brands to make someone's day and accidentally go viral at the same time. I'm sorry, there are no real new growth tactics here. Just a reminder that when you do more socially, you end up winning more.
