never getting toner again!!!!

I always end up liking my hair better a few days after the toner washes out. So the last time I got my hair done, this was like three days ago, I asked her not to tone. So this is just my hair after a raw lift. This is what I do. I just get balayage. I ask for a very lived-in bright blonde balayage. So we don't take it all the way to the root, but she just like very gently paints it up so I don't have like a sharp demarcation line when it grows out. So today I'm going to wash my hair. It's Sunday morning, I got this done on Thursday. I'm going to use my favorite purple shampoo ever, the number four by Olaplex. This stuff is like, it's just the best of the best. I don't know if you can see, but it's like so dark purple. It makes your hair so beautiful and icy and gets out like every little bit of orange and brassiness. I honestly don't have a ton. My hair lifts very well, and she got me in and out. I was only there for like two and a half hours, plus a cut and style. So she really did a good job. So this is me before purple shampoo. We're going to see what my purple shampoo does. I can't tell you the last time I didn't get a toner, just because they've always said that I've needed it, but I'm like, I just don't feel like I need it. So, I'm going to jump in the shower, I'll style my hair similar to this, and then we'll see what the tried and true does for us. Okay, here's the hair freshly styled. I didn't think it would be like a night and day difference because if there's one thing that Brad Mondo has taught me, it's that purple shampoo cannot replace a toner. And I wasn't trying to, I just wanted to see what it would do with my untoned hair and I think it looks amazing. I think these few pieces up front are just like slightly icier. It doesn't look brassy at all and I think it looks very nice and blended. Everything looks really good. So, I guess that is my sign that I no longer need to be getting tones, because I always just end up liking this better anyway. Here's how it looks from behind. Yeah, I really like it. I think it looks good. So this is your sign to maybe skip the tone if you think your hair lightens better or if you like it better after the toner has washed out. And also this is your sign to get the Olaplex purple shampoo because it's the best ever.
