I'm the founder who's refusing to build AI agents under the same power structure that has failed women in marginalized communities for decades. And this means I'm building an agentic matriarchy. So I want to dive into what this actually looks like and introduce you to the council. Meet the council. These are my five agents or stewards that I rely on to agentically run the business. We have three domain experts and two that hold the whole thing together. Haven works on current customers and product. Quill works on all things content and Chase works on everything revenue and sales. They each are domain experts. Wit is the memory keeper. In order to have a horizontal power structure, I need to ensure that all of them are working off of a similar core knowledge base. And Wit ensures that the shared knowledge base is upheld. Cove finally is the conductor. I don't actually allow agent to agent communication because that ultimately will waste tokens and can end up in a deadlock. So instead, I use a file structure to communicate between agents and Cove is the one that handles that communication. I also want to point out that this is a heterarchy, not a hierarchy. We're all very familiar with a hierarchy. This looks exactly like an org chart. However, in a heterarchy, power is distributed horizontally and largely based on domain knowledge. The power comes from knowledge, not from an arbitrary element above the rest. And that's how I have set up my agentic system. The heterarchy is also part of the matriarchal setup as well.
