8 months ago I told the world that me and my boy would build the next BeReal. Today, every day, someone in your friend group gets picked. You have until midnight to vlog it. You've got until midnight to vlog it. We currently have three critical bugs that need to be fixed before we release. Firstly, when you travel and change time zones, the app will ask you in a prompt to change them. You'll hit yes, but nothing will happen. It's completely broken. The second is streaks. Right now, if someone in your group misses their day to vlog, the streaks will reset, but it doesn't even go up. And thirdly, when you sign up, phone number formatting is wrong for countries like Belgium, New Zealand, and Romania. Our beta testers from those regions can't even sign up. Normally, I'd fix these one by one, and maybe two, but instead, I opened up Replit. Replit broke each one into three separate tasks and ran each parallel all at the same time. And you can see each one working in the task board. I then reviewed, approved them, and merged. What would normally take me an entire day to do, only took me about 20 minutes. And that's the whole point, the less time I spend on bugs, the more time I get to spend on creative work. Design, strategy, content, stuff that helps the company move forward.
