things. These are five things I no longer spend money on as someone who has built up an over half a million dollar net worth by living below my means and consistently saving 50% of my income. If you're new to my page, hi, my name is Dominique, and I post financially conscious lifestyle and budgeting tips to show that you can live a full life while building wealth and living below your means. So if you're interested in that type of content, definitely give me a follow. Number one, no premium vehicles. You will not catch me out here spending money on a premium vehicle, okay? I drive a 2018 Kia Soul. It's a bit dented up, but it runs well and it's paid off. It gets me from point A to point B, and I don't see the need to pay money to fix the dents because it does not impact the way the car runs. No. Number two, bottled water. Tap water is just fine in my area, and if it wasn't, I would definitely invest in a filter of some sort before I start buying bottled water. Number three, Amazon Prime membership. Most of the time, once your cart hits $35, you get free shipping anyway. So I just let my cart build up over time. Anything I need quicker, I would just go to the store and buy it or go to the manufacturer's website and buy it direct. Number four, extended warranties. Plans on like small consumer products. So think things like phones, computers, coffee makers, small appliances like that. Just a general policy of mine, cumulative purchasing warranties, I feel like the cumulative savings from not purchasing those warranties would more than offset the cost to replace or repair one of those appliances if it were to fail. Dave Ramsey once said that Best Buy is an extended warranty store that also sells electronics, and I found that really funny. I'm curious what other things you guys are no longer spending your money on, especially in this economy. So let me know in the comments down below.
