They rejected your CV, they can reject your university application, they can reject your funding proposal. But there's one place in South Africa that will almost never reject your decision to build. CIPC. Mduzi. That's the harsh truth nobody wants to talk about. We grew up believing the only way to survive is to be chosen. Chosen by school, chosen by HR, chosen by a manager, chosen by a company. So when rejection comes, people collapse emotionally because they built their whole identity around being selected. But here's the shift that changed everything for me. Ownership doesn't ask for applause first. The moment you realize you can legally register a company, create value and sell to the same world that rejected you, your mindset changes. Because now the question is no longer, who will hire me? Now it becomes, what problem can I solve so well that people pay me? That's a dangerous mindset because the same person who got rejected by a university can build a skills academy online. The same person rejected by corporate can start a panel shop, courier service, mobile car wash, or digital agency. Rejection only hurts when you think employment is the only path. But the minute you understand that CIPC gives ordinary people permission to build. Rejection becomes market research. It tells you where the gap is. It tells you what system failed to absorb you.
