insane things I did to land a six figure job in 3 years

Here are some insane things that I did to land a six figure job in 3 years. The last one I think I was just delusional. So the first thing I did was take a pay cut to make $10 an hour part-time. Well, I also being six months postpartum. Baby, I could barely afford to live, let alone have a baby. I was on WIC, Medicare, Medicaid, everything under the sun. But I knew that getting the experience and having the skills would definitely get me far in the long run. So the second thing I did was job hop. And job hop I did. I went from healthcare, finance, education, legal, and then oil and gas. My motto has always been you can't find the best price at the first stop. And I used that literally. It took me a few jobs, but we finally got there. And then the last thing that was definitely delusional. I applied to a job that I had no idea if I was actually qualified for. I just saw one keyword and baby, I applied. And in the job interview, I told them that I did not know what the job was, but that I could learn and that I was teachable. So I really don't know who was crazier, them or me. But needless to say, we got the job and in six years later, we're making over $130,000 annually, not including the bonus. So I say all that to say, be delusional in your career journey, because it might work out.
