Maybe it's the miami effect but everyone's a faker to me until proven otherwise. I interviewed a guy today that told me, oh, I have an interest in working for your company. I wanna work in the sales team and I said, okay. So, what are you doing for work right now? Because I have my team screen these candidates out and then I meet with them and I try to know nothing about them and just hire them based on feel, personality, charisma, tonality, the questions they ask, stuff like that. So I don't want to know anything about them. I just want my team to screen them, place them in front of me so I don't have any judgements. This guy tells me he has three landscaping companies. They're all automated. They're all printed tons of cash and here he is sitting down at a job that the top top level he can make is like maybe one twenty-five one fifty a year. So I said hey instead of coming in and making you know best case scenario hundred fifty K a year at this job why don't you just stay at your company, your company like not like the company you work that but like the one that you own and work on the marketing and scale it up and you'll make way more than that. And he's like no it's it's automated and everything like that and you know we're doing really well. Then I don't know where I got the nerve to do this but I just fucking hate fakers cuz I work my fucking ass off. I don't flash any of the shit that I have and these guys have nothing in do and it just pisses me off because they try to fast track something that you can't fast track. I literally just looked at them and said open up your bank account. Got all flustered of course. And he said why would I open up my bank account? And I said I want you to prove to me that you're not full of shit and then maybe i'll have some respect for you and think about bringing you onto my company. So we started saying oh I don't really feel that's appropriate blah blah blah. Then I wanted to really test that he was a piece of shit and I said cool man how about this you open up your bank account and show me the three hundred thousand dollars that you just told me is in it and I'll deliver you an Apple Pay for two thousand dollars right now. Literally typed out his phone number in my phone put the two thousand dollar apple pay in there and said you show me and I send. You'd be making kim kardashian money two thousand dollars in thirty seconds. Pretty good rate per hour. You know what he did instead of showing me the bank account and proving that he has what he has? Called me a piece of shit and walked out. I'm putting up michael jordan numbers on spotting these fakers it's fucking great.
