Yesterday I got monetized on my Facebook AI page. And before I got that monetization, like I really suffered the Facebook content monetization is a program where you get paid for your videos, your pictures, your stories, even your text. And before you get into that content monetization, you need to be invited by Facebook themselves. Like there's no shortcut to it. So this was how I was able to get my own after 4 months of posting consistently. Two days ago, I decided to contact their support because I was tired of waiting. How did I contact their support? I first of all paid for their verification badge for just one month. I went to pay the one of 45. So after I paid for the verification badge, I went to select get help, like I want to chat with an agent. At first, they did not directly link me to an agent to chat with. They first of all gave me their AI, their AI agent to chat with. So I was chatting with the AI agent and I got to find out that these people, even though my page, the recommendation was good, everything was clean, like I had no violations, but from their own end, they saw me as a persistent violator. I don't even know what that thing means. Like I had something blocking my own page from getting monetized. And it was through the conversation I had with their AI that I got to find out that my page was currently flagged for persistent violation and I don't know why. Because even though my page is AI content, I usually label my AI content like it was created by AI. So when I got chatting with them, they told me that they could see that on April 6th, I had some violations on my page. Like I was like what happened from where to where? So I told them that they should please connect me with the human agent so that I can know how to resolve this. And when the human agent came to chat with me, we got speaking and then she told me that the violation was actually on my profile and not my page. So meaning that if you are currently running a page, if you have any violation on your profile, it is going to affect your page automatically. So that is just it. So I told them that I wanted to know exactly what I was having issues with on my profile because even if I go to my profile, my record was still clean. But they told me that I had some copyright something that I am yet to accept revenue share. So I quickly went to settings and privacy, I went to my support inbox and I saw that Facebook was sending me a lot to come and accept revenue share for all the old old videos that I've done on Facebook for years back. They told me that I had to come and either accept revenue share or remove the music from my video. So I went to accept revenue share for every single one of them and I went back to the human agent to chat with them and they told me that yes, that they are no longer seeing any violations on my profile. So I told the human agent that they should please consider my page for monetization, that it's been long overdue. I've been posting consistently since and please that I did not know that my profile had these violations that was holding my page and she said I should just wait for the next rollout. Omo, I woke up the next morning and my content monetization was unlocked. So meaning that as me I was just waiting for them to invite me, I wouldn't have known that there was something hindering my page from getting monetized. So I'll advise you if you've been waiting for so long, like if you know that your even sometimes you might not have any outstanding violations on your page or on your profile, but behind, you don't know that there's something that Facebook is actually seeing that is violating. It could be an error, it could not be an error. So I'll advise you if you've waited for so long, I said if you've waited for so long oh, because one of the criteria is your page has to be at least two months or one month before they monetize you. So if you've been waiting for like a year, if you've been waiting for like six months, if you've been waiting for like four months, if you've been waiting for like you know more than three months, then I will just advise you to go and get that their badge and go and chat with their customer support. As for me, I am so happy because let me not lie, that app pays more than this app because so far so good, since I got monetized yesterday, I have earned $17 between yesterday and today. And Facebook actually tries so much for AI creators, like there's nothing like flagging your content left and right saying unoriginal content like one app like that.
