If you're under 10,000 followers and you're wondering what time you should post, I'm going to give you a complete guide to posting times on TikTok. And this is the approach I take that my clients have taken that has resulted in some crazy high follower days. Like I had an account that I took from 0 to 15k in 5 days. One of my clients managed to do it in like 1. Make sure to follow and like this video, let's get into it. For this to make sense, you got to understand that back in 2017, 2018, social media operated off of a chronological design, which means the newest posts were shown at the top, the oldest ones were at the bottom. And if you posted at like midnight, your post would be super old by the time everyone was up to watch your content, and it just really wouldn't get any views. So you really have to optimize and try to post at the correct time. But now social media algorithms widely operate off of a categorization design, which means when you post, it goes into a specific category and social media algorithms will use that category to determine who to send the content to. Right? People who like fishing are going to get fishing content. What this also means is that social media algorithms will show your content to a batch of people anywhere from 150 to 400 and determine how well it does within that batch of people before they decide to send it out to more people, no matter what time you post. So now you could post a video at midnight and it still go viral. You could post a video in the middle of the day and it get absolutely zero views and have no difference because now social media algorithms look primarily at how well the content does within that test group. I've posted videos that have gone on to go viral at midnight. I have posted videos in the middle of the day that have gone absolutely nowhere. It used to matter back in the day, today it does not. So the timing strategy I suggest is a personal one. Instead of you trying to post content at a time where the algorithm will push it out, what I instead recommend is to post content as quickly as you can as soon as you get the idea, because that will result in you getting more posts out. And the only way you can tell how good your ideas are is if you get the posts out and if people see it and if it can go out to that test group of people. So instead of sitting back, judging your ideas in your head, when you have an idea, try to post it as quickly as you can. That will result in more viral videos for you, you'll grow way faster. One of the biggest hurdles I try to get over with clients is that posting consistently. It takes time to build a habit, but once you've got that habit built, is one of the best things you can have, because the more you post, the more content gets out there, the higher your likelihood of going viral. Now, if you want my personal help, I've got a video inside my bio. If you watch that video, it'll ask you a couple questions and then you can apply to have a free one-on-one call with me and we will look at your content, we'll look at what you're doing and build a monetization strategy for you that will work for you in the long term. Other than that, go ahead and follow me and I will see you in the next video.
