I made $5,000 and my first thought was, "Dang, I made so much more than the average person." But then I opened my social media and I saw a guy who made $10,000 in a single day and I thought, "Dang, I'm so bad." The reality of the situation is I should not be comparing myself to anybody but who I was yesterday. I have had months where I make $15,000 and I am depressed when I get out of bed because I am not making 100 or 200,000. "You've been doing this for four years. You should be making more money by now." I am so incredibly blessed to be able to live the type of life I get to live. I do wanna be motivated to make more, but I only base that on what I was able to do previously, not what somebody else is able to do. Let's say our team does 15K in a single month. If I make 10K, then I should be unhappy. If I make 20K, I should be happy. But what shouldn't happen is I make 15K and then I go on social media and I see somebody make 100K and I'm depressed. And I promise, if you are running an online business, having this mentality will keep you mentally healthy and you will get more work done in the long run anyway.
