It's T minus 7 days from when I quit my Big Tech software job at Shopify. I have no job offer lined up. And no backup plan. And I know the job market is brutal right now. But I can't escape the feeling that my 20s are slipping away. You know it's the Sunday night where you open up your laptop and you look at your calendar for the week and feel absolutely nothing. Then you do it again next week and then the next year, and the version of you that had ideas and a dream and a passion and a grand vision for your life slowly disappears. So I'm not trying to tell you to quit your job. Most people shouldn't. But I am gonna document every single part of what that looks like when someone does leave their well-paid cushy, Big Tech job. I will show you the good weeks, the bad weeks, and the weeks where I want to crawl back. Because I think a lot of us want to do more with our lives. I believe a lot of us want to do more with our lives. I think a lot of people my age are sitting on that same feeling and just wanna see if someone makes it out on the other side. T minus 7 days. Here we go!
