Hook
Two weeks ago I quit my job with $280 in my pocket. I have no plan and I'm almost 22 years old. Sounds like rock bottom. Kind of is. It's also the best decision I've ever made. Today is the day that I start climbing out and I'm going to film every step of it. I'm Liam. I still live with my parents at the age of 22. I tried college but I flunked out after two years and I haven't really found anything I can stick with for more than six months. For a long time I felt like I was wasting everyone's time, including my own. But honestly I'm done sitting in it and it's time to do something about it, publicly, where I cannot quit quietly. A few weeks ago I was on my last sales trip making no money, knocking on doors I felt sick to knock for a job that I absolutely hated and it hit me all at once. I have no path forward, no direction in life and I'm losing the people I care about because I'm too far down to show up for anyone. So I made the call. I can either stay at the bottom or I can start climbing. I picked climbing, except I'm going to film it so everybody can watch me. Ugly parts included. So here's the line I'm drawing. In 12 months from now I want my own place, my own income and a life that's actually mine and not held up by everybody around me. Something I'm finally proud of. And to be honest, I don't know if I'll make it, but the one thing I do know is I don't want to fake the results and I don't want to hide. So that's what this channel is. Me climbing out. The wins, the setbacks, the times it works and the times it doesn't. Nobody really films the messy middle, but I'm going to film all of it. If you're stuck like I am, I don't want you to just watch these videos, I want you to start the climb of your own. I'm not going to pretend like I have the answers. I don't. Not yet at least. But what I can promise you guys is transparency. If I find something that works, I'll show you exactly how it worked. If I fall on my face, I'll show you that too. More than anything I just want to prove to the people who raised me that they weren't wrong to believe in me. My fourth grade teacher used to tell me, fake it till you make it. And I did. I faked being fine, I faked having it together, I faked most of my life. But I'm done faking it. I'm going to film it until I make it. If you want to watch that happen, follow me on my journey so that in a year from now when it works, you were here for day one. Stupid fly.
