Come work a serving shift with me I was not only working a double today but a Saturday double. So I had my first cup of coffee of the day and busted down a protein oatmeal bowl. This was my first restaurant double I've worked literally in months. But here I am getting serving. I continue to overthink my life because I'm no longer just working a serving job as a student. Now I'm beginning to look like one of the career servers. And I'm not gonna lie that terrifies me. Anyway, on the subway at my favorite Tim Hortons to get my favorite cappuccino and Timbits and my second slice of the day. And then during my break I decided to do a Farm Boy mukbang by myself because I wanted to eat everything. I also am no longer working in fine dining. And to be honest, that's been quite a difficult adjustment physically and financially. I feel like an 18 year old server again, which is taking me back and it's super fun and way less stressful than fine dining. Unfortunately, I had a pretty slow day today both for brunch and dinner service. I guess it's good to be humbled while. So I'll see you next
