My landlord kicked me out so I'm officially starting a Toronto apartment hunting series. Today I toured three condos in the Entertainment District. This was the first one, apartment #1, $2700/month. I actually currently live in this building which is why I wanted to see it. I loved the building, which is why I wanted to see it. I liked that it was a corner unit but this bedroom was so small. Like I'm literally filming on 0.5 so the actual apartment itself felt way smaller than this. I think simply for the size of the second bedroom, it's just not gonna work. Then we went over to another building and I literally loved this unit. It was absolutely huge for a two bedroom, and a real two bedroom. Excuse the stuff everywhere, the current tenants were literally moving out right now, which is why there's things like this everywhere. But I loved this unit and I actually didn't think I would. Also just wait until you see the humongous private terrace. Like literally I could not believe it. But $3675/month is way over our budget. Like that is just way too high. So I'm really disappointed about that. This was the last apartment that we saw today and this is in the same building as the last one that I loved. This was also considered a two bedroom but it's literally not a one plus den. I'm quite used to Toronto apartment hunting and I'm probably going to be touring hundreds of places so I'll see you next time.
