I'm 21. I started investing last year and I have a portfolio on track to reach six figures before the year ends. Here are some stocks and ETFs I would look into. Not financial advice, do your HW before investing. The first is in the oil and gas industry. At the recording of this video, the Strait of Hormuz is still blocked off and this is major because one-fifth of the world's oil supply flows through that strait. This is why you see gas prices have spiked and oil is now over $105 a barrel. Because of this, the only winners are oil and gas companies. Now Exxon and Chevron released their earnings for Q1, but I don't think it tells the full story. Because Q1 is starting in January, the Strait of Hormuz was not blocked then. I believe in Q2 and Q3, especially with no end in sight of this war, I believe that their earnings will almost double if not triple year over year. Some stocks or some ETF tickers for this will be obviously Exxon, obviously Chevron, but also XLE is an ETF that holds a lot of oil, gas, and energy stocks. Next would be any Mag 7 stock. Mag 7 is the Magnificent 7, so you have your Apples, Nvidias, AI companies, Meta, all that kind of stuff. Um, the earnings dropped and they actually did better than expected. A lot of people were expecting with this AI bubble, AI boom, that, you know, these companies weren't going to do as well, but the earnings showed that they are doing better, like they're on track and they're doing better than expected. Google is the clear winner. Apple also did well, but with Tim Cook stepping down and them having a new CEO, there might be some short-term volatility and people are going to be like, well, is Apple going to keep on going? Uh, only time will tell. So some stocks to look into again will be obviously Google, obviously Apple. Meta also did as well as well, Amazon as well. And if you were looking to hold the ETFs or hold a basket of these stocks, I would look into VUG and QQQM.
Their other posts in the index, biggest breakout first.
