Apple just approved one of my client's apps after back and forth with submission. If you're building your app and you're going to submit to App Store, here are things you should take note of. The first thing which is obvious is that your app should actually work and nothing should break in your app. So you should test your app thoroughly and make sure there's no bug, there's no error and your app is not crashing. If the Apple testers are testing your app and it crashes, that's a rejection. Number two, make sure you have a privacy policy and terms of service page ready and these should be links to a website. So you should have a website where you have your privacy policy and terms of service. And why it's important for this to be in a link is that while submitting your app to App Store, Apple will ask for the link to the privacy policy and terms of service, so you have to have these links ready. If your app has in-app purchases where people are going to subscribe to something, make sure you test the purchase flow very well and make sure it works, because Apple testers test on both iPhone, iPad and different Apple devices and if it fails on one device, then it's going to be rejected. Last but not the least, test every page and make sure there's no empty page or something in your app that's not functional, because Apple is just going to reject your app.
