My latest app got approved to the App Store in its first submission, so today I'm going to teach you how to one-shot it in less than 80 seconds. This first one is the one that people miss the most, and it's that if your app ingests any type of data, that's names, emails, you need to have a privacy policy URL. Without it, you're just going to get rejected. But the good thing is it's super easy to make. Just ask your vibe coding platform to go ahead and make it with your app specifications or use a service like Termly. This second one is a little bit newer, and it's that if your app wraps around an AI model like ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini, you need to go ahead and disclose where that data is being sent. Literally just add an AI consent screen. Otherwise, you're going to get flagged. This third one is a little bit of a nuance, but if you go ahead and have third-party logins from companies like Google, you also need to have sign-in from Apple as well. But the good thing is back-ends like Supabase, Clerk, they all provide it. So go ahead and make sure you can sign in with Apple and just make sure you test it on your device before you submit it. This last one is really important because if you make money through your app, you charge subscriptions or premium features, you cannot send the user to Stripe or an external browser. Instead, use a product like Adapty that's going to allow you to track revenue cleanly within the app. And then in addition to that, go ahead and sign up for their small business program, that's going to allow you instead of paying 30% fees to Apple, pay 15%.
