I just built MonthSpend. An app to help me track my finance, strictly set budgets and have a structure for finance. Check it out at monthspend.com Thank you Apostle @Pastor Emmanuel Iren for the teachings sir. #app #finance #kowope #cci #apostleiren I was in church just Sunday when my pastor said this: Money is a spiritual stethoscope. Don't try to persuade me. Just print your bank statement. If I look at your bank statement I will tell you if there are idols in your life. And when I came back home I checked my bank statement for the last month and July and I was not happy about it. Just not anything but the lack of structure and everything that came in went out. So I decided to build an app to help structure my finances. So you can open the app, create an account and then you set a budget for the month. After setting a budget for the month, you create budget categories. Then you put the budget to each of those categories. And you can just come into the app every day to log the money that you spent for that day in each of the categories where they belong. So let's say you booked the ride, you bought food, you can log each of those categories where they belong. This way you can see your total budget, how much you've spent so far and how much is left for that budget. You can see how much is left for transport, how much is left for foodstuff, and other things. And also you can check the analytics. You can see what you spend the most on. You can just see the logs of everything you do, you know, and you can see numbers that will make you shake your head or will make you be proud of yourself. And also you can change the currency, you know, if you are in UK, US, Canada, Ghana, Kenya, South Africa, India, UAE. And you can also set the theme to be light or dark. And you can also activate the notifications so that you get notified that like you spent 25% of your Eat out budget. You have spent 25% of your Eat out budget. You can see that you've spent 50% of this budget. I built this because people like me, I barely survived without structure. I'm no structured way of doing it. And I would just do it anyhow. And that's what happened to me last month. So I used to do this using a pen and paper method. So building the app will just help me better with my finances and it will also help some people that why it launched it and you can use it. So to use the app, just go to monthspend.com and you get the instructions on how to get it on your device, iOS or Android. So you have to add it to your home screen and use it like an app on your device. So yeah, if you're serious about your finances, I think this is something you might try out. Thank you.
