Okay, I don't know who needs to hear this, but if you're using one of these banks, they're taking advantage of you and making you poorer, and they think you're too stupid to figure it out. I'm going to make this really simple for you. Let's say you have a $1,000 in a bank account, right? So you open your bank account, you see $1,000. It's actually not true. A $1,000 isn't in there. The bank has taken your $1,000, they have invested it, and they have made $100 off of it. Meanwhile, every month they come back to you and say, oh, here's one penny. Thank you for using our bank. But they just made $100. Don't you feel like you should be getting more of that? They are tricking you and you don't know. I know you've heard of inflation. It's about 3%. If your bank is not giving you 3% back at least, your money is actively losing value. So if you have one of those banks, you need to switch immediately. I have three really good options for you. The last one is how you're going to make $100 on $1,000. Before I get into these, I'm Taylor. I have a finance degree. I'm obsessed with personal finance, and I want to help you out because I know a lot. Okay. Number one is the SoFi savings account. Right now they're offering 3.3% APY on your money. That's enough for inflation plus some. All right. They're not taking advantage of you. Second good option is the American Express high-yield savings account. They're currently offering 3.10%. I use this one for my emergency fund. It's really great. The last place you should put your money instead of a bank is the S&P 500. And I know you're sick of hearing that. I know you are. Just listen. This is like what the banks are investing in to make that $100 off of your $1,000. You could be making that instead. Come on. Here's a good real-life example for me. I invested $5,000 into the S&P 500 at the end of March. It is now the end of May. I have made $700. Now that you know your bank's little secret, you need to switch all your money into one of the options that I said. You need to share this with a friend that's using one of those banks. You need to let me know if you need help or if you're confused in the comments. And obviously you need to follow me because you can't afford to miss what I talk about.
