Thailand is so cheap. Once you get there. But getting there is a whole different story. I just got back from a few days in Singapore and Thailand. So I want to break down how much I paid for flights to actually get there. Here's every single flight I took in order and how much I paid for it. The first flight was Seattle to LAX. I did this one because LA is only two hours away from me here in Seattle. And then two, we had a day trip there. And we saw that it was cheaper to fly out of LA to Asia then Seattle. So that's what we did. Price of that flight was $138. Next was a round trip from LAX to Bangkok, including a 10 hour layover in Singapore for both ways for $837. It ended up working really well for us because the Singapore airport is one of the most efficient airports I've ever been in. So we were able to leave the airport and explore the city for like eight hours. Like a trip inside the trip. After we spent a few days in Bangkok, we head over to Chiang Mai. I spent $63 on that flight. From Chiang Mai to the island of Koh Samui, and that flight was $272. Round trip from Koh Samui back to Bangkok for $147. That included the flight back to LA, which was included in the route from earlier. Finally LA back to Seattle, which was $148. For all the flights, I paid $1,605. In my opinion, this was completely worth it. We got to see a bunch of different places made there. Cheap. You're Thailand.
