This is exactly how much 11 days and 10 nights in South Korea cost me in the off season. My sister and I went in late January and my flights were one thousand one hundred and fifty seven dollars and forty seven cents. Accommodations came to nine hundred and thirty dollars and eighty cents per person. This was for five nights of hotels in Seoul and five nights at an Airbnb in Busan. Train tickets to get between Seoul and Busan were one hundred and fourteen dollars and ninety cents each. My e-sim with unlimited data was fifty dollars and ten cents. Food and cafes came to six hundred and eighteen dollars and sixty one cents. Korea set my bar so high for cafes. We used Uber sometimes when it was super cold and also more in Busan because things are much more spread out and transit can take pretty long so my share of Ubers came to one hundred and fourteen dollars and thirty three cents. Now warning if you're going to Korea you can't reload your transit card with a foreign credit card which means you need cash. I brought $125 cash and that was used for loading my transit card and also for buying things in the markets. Now let's move on to the fun stuff which is entertainment of course. We did a colour analysis, rode the beach capsule and beach train in Busan and went to an art museum which was similar to Team Labs and went to two Korean saunas which all came to three hundred and twelve dollars and nine cents. This made the entire cost of the trip without shopping, three thousand four hundred and twenty three dollars and thirty cents. Obviously shopping can be a very big part of going to Korea, but it's also a very personal number. I specifically wanted to replace my super old North Face jacket and my new jacket was three hundred and twenty five dollars and seventy two cents after the tax refund and other shopping, mostly skincare and small gifts, I spent four hundred and seventy three dollars and eight cents.
