Hook
9 times out of 10 people that are in big friend groups, big friend groups are bullies. Okay? And listen, let me know in the comments if you guys agree or disagree. I think this is a really great conversation to have because I think obviously with any situation, there's nuance, right? Nothing is applicable to every single group. But just the pattern that I've seen, um, with these big friendship groups is that you do have to be someone that is okay with a certain level of cruelty. And when I mean cruelty, I mean, you have to be okay with ganging up on one person. You have to be okay with having your group leader or whoever in the group deciding, hey, this person's out, we're not messing with this person, you have to be okay with being cruel to that person because there isn't an expectation if you are in these big friend groups, you have to be okay with having your group leader or whoever in the group deciding, hey, this person's out, we're not messing with this person, you have to be okay with being cruel to that person because there isn't an expectation if you are in these big friend groups, you need to show your loyalty, you need to shun the other person. You need to ostracize, bully, talk about whatever. And I think that's why for me, as I've gotten older, I don't really do well in big friend groups. I'm someone who hasn't, you know, always had a lot of friends, always been really popular. But as I've gotten older and become more introverted, I've noticed that a lot of times, if you're a confident person and you're introverted, big friend groups will choose you to be the person that they ostracize and bully. You're going to be the person, even though you don't talk to them, you don't do anything to them, you don't even care if they're excluding you, but because you don't care that they're excluding you, that they're going to have you be their main target. If you are in a big friend group, I automatically just assume that you're a bully. And I know people might disagree and I want your opinions in the comments. But if you're in a clique, if it's like, oh, if you're not inviting this person, we're not going. If you're like, I understand loyalty to a certain extent, but I also too think when you're about to be like, what are you guys, a gang? I don't know. Let me know in the comments if you guys agree or disagree.
