Imagine dropping a bottle of hand soap on the floor and thinking you'd be able to wipe it off. But no, it proceeds to destroy the whole floor. Turns out polished concrete doesn't like citrus. This green jumper is the culprit of the incident. The nozzle of the hand soap got caught in the jumper and then I knocked it on the floor. So I will partially take some blame. Anyway, lucky for me, John has always hated the polished concrete floor. And with me being blonde, you can see every single strand of hair that falls out of my head. So rather than repolishing the whole of the downstairs floor, and yes, I found out we would have to do the whole of the downstairs floor because you can't just do a patch because it'll look completely different to the rest of the floor. Anyway, we're now looking at wooden floors. I went into one shop about six weeks ago and then never got back to us with a quote. But John really likes this brand of floor, but we just can't decide on the wood grain now. Does anyone have advice on how to choose?
