One of the most asked questions I get about our house renovation is this flooring. So I'm going to tell you everything you need to know about it. We actually originally planned to use LVT throughout the downstairs, but once we received some quotes back, it actually worked out so much more cost-effective for us to use wood effect porcelain tile. So these are from Mandarin Stone and these are the Jakob Lime Parquet Wood Effect Porcelain Tile. And we got them in the 900 by 900. That's specifically why we went for these ones because they had a really nice wood grain feel to them. So they didn't feel cold like normal porcelain tiles would. It also meant that we could put an electric heat mat down underneath. Our tiler did also spend quite a lot of time laying them out properly and making sure that the layout worked in the space.
