This is how we save over £400 a year on our food shop just by changing the payment method. By buying food via gift cards, we are able to get cashback on our food shop that you otherwise wouldn't be able to get with cash or a debit card. The good thing is that if you use a reward debit or credit card (besides American Express), you can stack your rewards on top of it, which is something no other cashback gift card app does. I have tried other cashback gift card apps like JamDoughnut, Cheddar, and Sprive, but I've noticed the rates are highest on EverUp. I am not partnered or affiliated with any of them. I decided to make a video on EverUp because I find it the most useful and it feels the best to me, which is why I use it personally. There are a few things to keep in mind: 1. Using gift cards removes Section 75 protection and chargeback rights. If you are using EverUp for other types of gift card purchases, you should be aware of that. 2. I don't really think this is much of an issue for your food shop, as you rarely need to invoke those specific consumer rights and you still keep your statutory rights. 3. Usually, if something is wrong with your supermarket shop, you can just keep your receipt and they will be able to refund anything that is faulty.
