How to protect your Amazon account 101

I want to make this crystal clear because I get DMs every single day of people crying about losing their Amazon account because they bought some wholesale course, listened to some kid, and they bought from some really sketchy wholesale supplier. And now they lost their account and they're ghosting them. So I want to explain to you the things that you have to avoid if you want to keep your Amazon business running forever. These are non-negotiables. You might be able to get away with doing this a couple of times, but if you continue to do it, you are going to lose your account. I can guarantee you, you're never going to get it back. And there's a lot here, so I wrote them down. There's actually a lot of things you need to watch out for. Amazon is not as easy as just buy whatever you want to from whoever you want to and go and listen on the platform and sell it because you're going to lose your account. Number one, your buddy or friend or partner having a hookup on a product does not have a valid source of inventory. Just because you know someone that knows a guy that can get your products for a cheap price, doesn't mean that you should buy them from them because I can guarantee you without a fraction of a doubt, 100% certainty, you are going to lose your account if Amazon turns around and asks you where you got the products from. The biggest thing with these types of products too, generally the products that are coming from a buddy of yours or from a person of a friend, generally those listings are also risky. Usually their listings that have the brand on them, they have other things that can cause issues with an IP complaint and then Amazon coming and asking for further receipts. And then boom, you lose your account forever. You lose your money. You get a section three and lose your account. If you buy products from overseas or buy generic products this will cause you to lose your account. You can buy things from China, from Stylevana, from Alibaba, from Alex Express from Amazon, from United Foods, from Costco, from Kihi, authorized wholesale retailers or the brand directly. That is the actual brand. Branded correctly. Buying from eBay or third-party sellers on Walmart will cause you to lose your account. You can't buy things from some random person on eBay and sell them as a brand new authentic product on Amazon because Amazon's not going to know and they're not going to trust that as a valid proof of purchase and as a proper supply chain document. So these suppliers just offload them to Amazon sellers, and then you expect them to work for you. And when you actually submit an appeal with your order confirmation or from your invoice from that supplier, Amazon's not going to be able to verify that supplier and they're going to ask you for a letter, if they can't verify the invoice or the supplier, you provide them, they can verify that, okay, this person bought from Walmart, from Target, from Costco, from United Foods, from Costco, from Kihi, authorized wholesale retailers or the brand directly. That is the actual brand. Branded correctly. They're not going to ask you for an LOA. They're not going to ask you for an invoice. They're not going to ask you for proof of authenticity. They're going to trust you. They're going to trust that you're selling authentic products. And then boom, you're good. You're going to be able to sell your products forever. And the people that take these shortcuts, they might get the wins temporarily, but then they're going to go really deep on some products, lose their account and have six figures of inventory tied up and then that's going to get lost forever because they were doing it wrong, taking shortcuts from the beginning. So, the most important thing you'll ever do is monitor where you buy from. That is the most important thing as an Amazon seller. You have to buy products from places that you can easily show Amazon is legit. And that's going to keep your account safe forever. We had a lawyer come on our group call about two months ago and literally that was one piece of advice. He said, make sure your supply chain is in check and everything else will be fine. They've never seen people lose their accounts unless it was for, uh, essentially buying from an unauthorized source. Those are very tough to come back from. You can still sell products, but again, why would you want to deal with that headache when you don't need to? So, hopefully, this saves at least one person's business, hopefully at least someone saves some money by not making that mistake and losing it and losing everything that they've worked for the last couple months.
