My name is Alex, I'm a law student. These are my top three essentials for law school, what you actually need. These are the top three things I think you absolutely need as a law student. Disclaimer though, this is what works for me, it might not work for you. Number one is going to be a whiteboard. I use whiteboards in the library, but I also have a whiteboard at home. Whiteboards range from like $50 to $100. I don't know if mine is really old. If you don't want to go with that, you can definitely go with poster boards. I also use that method, it just helps to have all your information laid out on one page and not have to flip through a million pages to see all your stuff. Number two, and probably most important, a reliable laptop. My laptop that I used throughout college, quit on me during the middle of my evidence. Yes, I did cry. It was just too old to support the exam software and all the documents. I personally use Mac. I don't know if I would recommend that or not, but just make sure your computer is reliable. Number three, that. Honestly, a whiteboard and a computer, that's really all you need if you ask me. Oh, these little things. Legal pads, a bag that can carry a lot of textbooks, a lot of highlighters, and a Spotify premium subscription. That's all. I use binders and there to help me stay organized, but by the end of the semester, there's normally so many papers in them, I don't even end up using them anymore.
