I am very picky when it comes to what I buy. But that also means I'm pretty proud of my wardrobe. We are in spring on the cashmere summer. So let me break down what I look for when I'm building a spring and summer wardrobe. Floyy Minty skirts, once with a regular trim and asymmetric cuts. These are going to create such beautiful movement, emphasize a little hip. Interesting patterns are subtle detail like a little bit of lace or sequence. Satin pants. I think a topper or an ivory is beautiful. Honestly, anything that resembles natural materials like sand, pearl, bone, limestone and agate fabrics. And the shawl is going to create more depth and complexity. I'm skipping any of the ones with drawstring waste bands. That way they're easier to dress up when you want to. Essential tank tops. Do not underestimate the importance of a good tank. Very simple, but they can be a great anchor against statement pieces. I curated some really good substantial quality tank tops in a bunch of different colors. Also a few different cuts to keep things interesting. Statement mini skirts. I mean, come on. How cute is this Carrie Bradshaw's signature mini skirt? I'm looking for once that focus on details that capture light and movement. So like Ruffles, big shell discs, beaded details. Summer clothing tends to be more dynamic and we want to amplify that. I go so much more in depth with even more clothing categories on my substack. So, if you're looking for more inspiration this season, go check it out.
