Hook
It's time girls, it's time. I've been leaking the secrets to how I edit my videos and you guys are eating it up. Today I'm giving you advice on how you're going to keep your audience's attention. Step number one, you don't want your clips to be too long. We want to see what you're doing, but we don't need to see all of it. Here's an example of what not to do. And then here's an example of how you're going to fix it. I keep all my clips between 0.2 and 0.6. Movement is key for this edit, so I want to scroll over to where I start moving and start my clip there. Next, I drag to make the video shorter until I'm in that 0.2 and 0.6 range. Copy that same movement over to the next window. I will start my video where my body is moving and the curtain is starting to pull back. Now it should look something like this when you're all done. Number two, change up your angles. This one's pretty easy. You just want to change things up. It keeps the audience's attention by changing the camera lens, going from wide view, side views, zoomed in. It will keep their attention. The real money maker. Ask questions and engage. Ask a question and engage with your audience. It's going to invite them to comment on your page. It's going to build community. Building a community on here is so important because that's what's going to grow your account, that's what's going to grow your reputation, so brands are going to want to work with you. And I know we're all on here for the same reason, we all want to make a little bit of money to live a little bit more freely. Being a successful paid influencer is paying more than heart surgeons. Isn't that crazy? And you have those tools right at the tips of your fingers. Thanks for stopping by. I'll see you guys next time. Bye.
