Now the county land bank is a place you can purchase property in your city at a cheaper price. Every city has one. Now these properties are very cheap, so they're usually distressed properties. But let me tell you why that's so beneficial. Because a lot of these affordable housing programs, they favored distressed properties. They favor rehabs. So if you can get the property off the county land bank for under let's say $50,000 and then you do affordable housing in at least one unit, you can get the rehab through affordable housing programs and they're more likely to approve your application because you have a distressed property.
