Why it worked

The video uses a popular format (tier list) and a trending topic (YC startups) to engage viewers. The creator's humorous and critical commentary on the startups, combined with the visual appeal of the tier list, likely contributed to its virality.

Summary

The creator reviews Y Combinator startups, starting with Ara, an autonomous software engineer, and ProjectX, a cloud GPU platform. They then discuss Drip, an AI meeting booking service, categorizing them on a tier list based on their perceived value and functionality.

You should check out ProjectX. Their claims are huge but their VM / OS, whatever they call it, barely works. It's slower than a snail and the UI looks like bootleg Ubuntu which sits on top of an XFCE machine. Don't you think other big companies will annihilate them in an instant?
