If I had to start over from zero tomorrow, my social media, this is exactly what I would do. Hi, my name is Kylee if you're new here and I organically grew my account from 0 to 70,000 followers in less than a year. And I don't sell a course or anything. So these tips are legit. Let's get into it. Number one, I would niche down from the beginning. I know everyone says this, but everyone says it for good reason because it's true. People need a reason to follow you. And if you're posting lifestyle content when you only have 10,000 followers, the harsh truth is that they don't care enough about you to just follow your life. Totally take this with a grain of salt if you're only posting to keep a digital diary. This is specifically for people that actually want to grow on this app. On the topic of niching down, I would absolutely start by choosing content pillars. I did not do this in the beginning. I only posted just fashion content and that is a recipe for burnout and that's exactly what happened to me. Number three, I would stop posting videos only viral. If you're only trying to go viral, you're typically not posting content that ages well, which in turn does not create an audience. Instead, I would let people into my life, actually grow a community of people that care about me and view my content. You can have a video have a million views and gain like four followers from it. On the topic of growing a community, I would respond to all of my comments in the beginning. Not only is this girl supporting girls, it also helps you grow that community and keep those girls in your circle for a long time. I still have some of the same girls supporting me from when I had 1,000 followers. What do you think? I forgot what number we're on, but I think number five, I would stop obsessively checking my likes and views after doing a video. Doing this absolutely even nobody. Even though I have 70,000 of my videos are really slow burning videos. Like currently I have a video that has 100,000 views. But when I first posted it and for the first five days it sat at like 5,000 views. Sometimes the algorithm needs time to place where your video belongs. Also, I would absolutely be checking my analytics. And from a standpoint, I mean, look at that too, but more go to your TikTok studio and look at your overall analytics. Especially go and see individual videos and how they're performing. You can post whatever you want, but if you posted the same kind of video like five times and it's flopping, it's never going to do good unless you change something about it. And in return, the videos that do good, I would focus on implementing those videos into your feed. An underrated one, but one that I did this in the video is I start off by saying if I had to start my account over, and then I also put my hair clips in at the exact same time. Both attention spans are so short these days. If you're not grabbing their attention in every single way possible, then they have no reason to stay. And last one, everyone says consistency is key, especially in the beginning. That consistently someone always up. Also this gives the algorithm time to recognize what the content is that you're putting out there and who to show your content to. Social media is not one size fits all. Different things work for different people. This is just what helped me along the way and things I wish I knew in the beginning. I wasted so much time watching all of these little coach gurus on my For You page and they absolutely did nothing for me. That's why in return, I want to give you free advice. If you like content tips, go ahead and leave a follow. And I'll catch you in the next one. Bye.
