5 THINGS THAT I started over entirely from scratch my name is Maddie and I've grown following of almost 35,000 here on TikTok in the past year. I've learned a lot from my journey of posting. So we're gonna talk tips if you want to also start posting on social media. First things first, posting trends and using trending audios, sprinkled in with the regular content that you're posting. This may not help you get the most followers, but it will help you get views. Then TikTok will start to push your videos out a little bit more. Some of my top performing videos are actually videos that are trends and not the ones that have taken me hours and hours and hours to edit, just to let you know. Second tip is to use your stories. I've started using Instagram stories a lot more, but I've been consistent in posting on my TikTok story and I do notice that whenever I'm more active on my TikTok stories, the videos I post on those days always seem to end up doing better. Third, if you're doing lifestyle content, make sure you're tagging the brands and products that you're consistently using. For example, I love Garage clothing, so I try to tag them in all my videos that I am talking about them or wearing their brand, same thing with skincare, makeup, anything like that. Make sure you're tagging the brands because when you're tagging them over and over again, they're gonna see your videos and be like, oh wow, she's actually using our brand. And that'll make them more likely to want to reach out and collaborate with you. Fourth, post consistently and interact with other people. Whenever I first started, I didn't really know if I wanted to take it seriously right now, so I wasn't posting super consistently and I feel like that threw off my account a little bit in the beginning. But once I started posting consistently and interacting with people, that's when I started to see more results. Also interacting with people. There is a big group of people on here who I've been mutuals with since I had literally hundreds of followers at the beginning of my posting. And I still like and comment on their posts as much as I can. And they do the same for me. And we've all just kind of grown into a little community together. Not only is it good for your account and for your posting and engagement, but it's also really good just to be able to make those connections as well because you never know when you might get to meet people in real life and have good in-person connections. And the last one of today is post on different platforms. Posting your content on other platforms like Facebook, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, all that kind of stuff. And making sure your handles are kind of uniform throughout. This is something that I've started doing more recently and I have been seeing some results on my other platforms. So that is something that I really wish that I would have started a long time ago. Also, side note, if you see me on Facebook posting, that's not me. So if you see me on Facebook, it's not me. That is five things that I would do if I started social media over from scratch. If you guys want more content tips, let me know. And that's all for today. I will see you guys later. Bye.
