Another new business just opened in New Orleans East, the comedy room. I caught a show last night, amazing, national talent, real energy, so much possibility. Shout out to Courtney the owner. He could have easily opened his business in Mary, Slaydell, anywhere, but thankfully he chose New Orleans East. But Sad to report, people are already complaining about a $6 service fee. So here's my question. How much gas do we burn every week when we have to leave our community for goods and services somewhere else. Listen, we're in a fragile moment right now. This momentum we have can either become something amazing or we can lose it all if we don't give our businesses patience, grace and room to grow. Nobody never hands us anything out here. Yeah. A few of us we get a frank here and there. But nothing collectively, nothing substantial. Nothing spectacular. right now we've got something great brewing and it's happening organically. And usually when something happens organically nobody can take that away from you. But building something spectacular calls for patience and calls for unity. area we fail in most times. It requires us to stop looking for reasons why things won't work and start finding way and start finding ways to make it work. Because there's no reason why the east can't become the next modern day Black Wall Street. I toward the force. The talents here. The heart here. And the faith is here. This is our moment. Don't mess this up. God bless.
