Did you see what Elon Musk just said about SpaceX? He thinks the company could generate $1 trillion of revenue in 2030. That's less than five years away for a company that generated less than $19 billion last year. Musk was responding to my post on X where I showed a forecast from Morgan Stanley, which is already quite lofty. They expect $330 billion in revenue by 2030. Okay, so how would this be possible? Most likely, it would be through AI. Here on Earth, Musk has already built data centers like Colossus and he's renting out access to big players like Anthropic and Google for $2 billion per month. If SpaceX can build similar data centers in space and they've got the Starship to do that, all of a sudden they have infinite space to rent out as centers as they want. What's your take on Musk's trillion dollar forecast? Let me know in the comments.
