And in 2006, dude is riding high. He's the star. He's the star of the Knicks. And then all of a sudden, there's this little clothing company and it's called Steven Berry. What if we showed a really good basketball shoe for the lowest price possible. Morgan, signs a deal with them. And in 2006, they launched Starberry. Guess how much those shoes cost $14.98. In the first month, they sell $200,000 pairs, but here's the craziest thing about it. The Starberry shoes were made in the exact same factory as Jordan. They go bankrupt in 2009. Stock on Morgan leaves the league, but he's not done. He's not washed up. He leaves. He goes to China. He joins the Chinese professional league and he leads the team which is called the ducks to three Chinese League championships. The Chinese government ends up giving him permanent residence. They build a museum in his honor. They have a statue of Stefan Mauer in Beijing. They put his face on a stamp. And in 2015, Mauer brought back the starberry shoes.
