Shoutout to Moe from Barbers Heaven. At 23 years old, he did what most people spend years talking about. He stopped working for someone else, took the risk, and opened his own barbershop in Dearborn. What impressed me even more? This kid drove 20 miles to my Airbnb and showed up at 6:00 AM to cut my hair and beard. While he was cutting my hair, he asked me a simple question: “What would you do if you were starting a new business today?” My answer: Most business owners are obsessed with getting customers. The real game is creating an offer that gets customers in the door, then building a system that turns them into recurring revenue. Organic marketing is great, but you’re competing with everyone posting content. At some point, you need paid advertising, a real funnel, and an irresistible offer. The goal isn’t to make money on the first transaction. The goal is to acquire a customer, maximize lifetime value, and let recurring revenue compound over time. Sometimes you lose money on the front end and make $12,000 on the back end. That’s how real businesses scale. This conversation alone would normally be a $5,000-$7,500 consulting session. This one was free. Because when I see a young entrepreneur betting on himself, working harder than everyone else, and showing up before sunrise, I respect it. Keep going, Moe. The city needs more entrepreneurs like you. #fyp #digitalmarketing #barber #sales @Barber’s heaven
