I just moved to the East Village, which is my first new neighborhood in four years. So right now I'm on a mission to find a new local cafe where I can get a flat white every single day, maybe some food and a good place to hang out. I've been recommended C&B by a bunch of people, so we're gonna head there right now. On first impressions, a big community vibe. People were talking out and hanging out, which is exactly what I like in a cafe. So they bake their own bread and have all these delicious looking pastries. I got myself a merguez sandwich, which was like a sausage and egg with cheddar and Jesus Christ, it was bloody good. It was really hot. I was joined by my friend Kieran for coffee. And in the 20 minutes that we were there, we made new friends, talked to everyone around us and just had such a good time. It wasn't the absolute best flat white I've ever had, but it was still very good and they made up for it in every other way. All 100% be back here.
