Aussie cafe that has just opened up in Soho, and as an Australian in New York City, it's my civil duty to go and support. I'm doing that right now. First impression of this cafe was it was beautiful. It has a massive skylight, which brings in a lot of natural lighting, which is what you want. The first thing I ordered. As I should order in an Australian cafe is a flat white. I'll tell you what, they make a bloody good coffee here. It really reminded me of home. That is how you make a flat white. I ordered the Reuben Benny. I ordered the Reuben Benny, which looked amazing and tasted even better. Eggs were cooked to perfection, the pastrami was amazing and there was a lot of sauerkraut. I also wanted to try the French Toast because I saw it online and it just looks incredible. I wanted to see it with my own eyes, and taste it with my own mouth. And I say this legitimately, it tasted better than it looked. It actually might be the best French toast I've had in my memory. But I don't remember this French toast fucking slaps. Halfway through, I met the owner, Alex. He said, and I quote, "We did a lot of research on avo toast." So apparently this one's meant to be the best. Oh mate. You've done pretty well here. Avocado toast had a lot of punch, from the goat's cheese and salsa verde, to the chilies and salsa verde. I really enjoyed it. I could hardly stomach any more, so I had to get out of there. You're making me fucking fat, man. So Hansel and Gretel. I got another coffee to go because it was just that bloody good.
