Here's a simple two ingredient fertilizer recipe that you can make at home. This stuff's way better than what you can buy at the store and you know exactly what's in it so you know exactly what's in your food. Grab your fruit. I decided to use bananas, mangoes, and I have these melon and peach skins from the other day. Organic brown sugar. Chop the fruit into small pieces. So you're going to weigh up all those fruit pieces and then add the exact same amount of weight of sugar. So make sure you add those to a big bowl you have room for mixing. Give it a gentle mix, you don't want to crush the fruit too much. You basically just want to coat it like this. Go ahead and pack that into a jar, give it a light tap down and then cover that with a cap of brown sugar that's about one inch. Make sure to leave a little headroom on the jar because it may expand as it ferments. Cover that with a breathable lid. I'm using a paper towel here. Make sure to check back later because our cap got wet here, so I added a little bit more sugar. We're going to let that sit for four to 10 days and then once it's juicy, we're going to strain that and you can dilute it one to 1,000 and use it for bloom support in your garden. Don't forget to follow if you want to see how this ferment turns.

2 ingredient diy fertilizer recipe: - 1 part organic fruit 🍌 - 1 part organic brown sugar *I used banana, mango, melon, and peach in this batch for the fruiting hormones and nutrients like potassium Chop the fruit skin on, remove the mango seed we don’t want that. Mix 1-1 by weight with brown sugar and toss gently to fully coat. Pack that into a jar leaving 1/3 headspace, cap with 1 inch of sugar. Check back the next day and add more to the cap if it gets wet. Let that sit for 4-10 days then strain the juice, dilute 1:1000 (I do 1 tbsp per 5 gallons water) and feed your plants every 2-4 weeks. Enjoy!
