digital products on Etsy for beginners. I'm about to give you a complete beginner walkthrough on creating and selling digital invitation templates on Etsy! Because why wouldn't you want to sell something where you keep 95% of the profits! I'm going to start with researching on Pinterest to see what's actually trending, what are people buying right now, what are the themes and design elements that I'm seeing over and over and over again. And one thing that I noticed is watercolor elements, but A, I cannot paint these myself, and B, I don't want to use Canva that every single other seller is using. So here's what obviously we're gonna use Playground. If you are new to selling digital products on Etsy and not using this tool, it probably shows. Because the one thing you need to have is unique designs. It is truly the difference between making sales and having zero views. And since everyone who is buying, actually wants an SVG, not a PNG, and I'll explain more why in the caption. Playground actually lets you export as an SVG for free, which is a total game changer when you're using a tool like this. Now you can bring the SVG into Canva to build out the full template, set up the editable text fields and get to selling. The last step is going to be creating a template link. You're going to embed that link into a PDF and then upload that PDF to your Etsy listing. This is what your customers are going to download once they buy. Want me to go deeper on any steps?
