Are The New Seiko Anniversary Models Worth It? It’s the Japanese watch makers 145th birthday this year and to celebrate they’ve released some special and limited edition watches. There are 6 models in their blue and white colourway with my top pick the 62MAS version. But are they worth the money? I picked up a couple of the 140th Anniversary models 5 years ago when then offered a budget Seiko 5 version, which they are not offering this time. Seiko are no strangers to a price increase but it’s very telling that they are no longer offering Seiko 5 special or limited editions models for this anniversary.
