I'm gonna say something that's gonna get me flamed because people are gonna misinterpret it, but I'm keeping it so real with y'all, okay? If you're in your 30s, if you're in your 30s and you're in the workforce, invest in a nice watch for yourself. Take the time to save up a couple thousand to a few thousand dollars and get the piece you actually want. Why? Because this stuff can actually matter. It's a game of inches out here. I'll explain exactly what I mean. There's a reason why the title of this video isn't, "If you're in your 20s, get a nice watch." And the workforce, get a nice watch. Why? Because people are ages and their haters. They see a nice timepiece on a 20-something's wrist, they're gonna think rich parents, graduation gift, wedding gift, right? They don't think it's earned, they think it was just a gift to you. And when you're in your 30s, you have credibility to you that you didn't have when you were in your 20s. And when you're working in a sector like business to business sales, or if you're trying to close with clients, you're meeting with important vendors, they're gonna look at the timepiece you have on your wrist. And if it's something that impresses them, or if it's something that sparks their interest, they're gonna start that conversation with you. Why? Because rich people love watches. It is a hobby that they just cannot get enough of. And that is your in, right? I'm very much the type of person that wears what I want, wears what's in my budget. But I'll be so real with you guys. The person wearing the Casio is not gonna get the conversation. The person wearing the Submariner, even though the Casio is gold plated, they're not gonna get the conversation. The person wearing the speedmaster is gonna get it. The person wearing the Tissot is not gonna get the conversation. I remember one time I was talking to this business owner, I had a meeting. This guy was very, very successful. The first 30 minutes of our meeting was him talking about the watch I was wearing. I asked about his watch. We talked watches for 10 minutes. I got the number I wanted. Just like that, right? Versus if the wind wasn't there, you're kicking from 55 yards out. And then the wind kicks in and it pushes you there by a couple inches, right? Versus if the wind wasn't there, you lose the game. It sounds so dumb, believe me. But like, those couple inches in an environment in the work force, they matter. They matter. If you're trying to rub elbows with all the right people anyway, it sounds superficial, but it's also a gift to you. Because you deserve it. You worked hard for it.
