There's only 20,000 polar bears left. A ring of tang is about to go extinct and our water is about to look like this. All because of big AI. ChatGPT, Gemini, Grok, all of these companies use up to 39 million gallons of fresh water every single day to cool their data centers. While animals are on the brink of extinction, we're building more data centers the size of New York and places that don't even have water. With all three big AI companies combined, imagine how much water we're wasting every single day. In just a couple years, big AI can consume as much water as 1.3 billion people. But here's the thing, I'm not going to stop using AI. I use it every single day and I use it for work. But at least I'm doing the right thing and I'm switching to something that is more eco-friendly. There's so many solutions online, but the one I use is called EcoGPT. It's 10 times more energy efficient than ChatGPT and the more that I use the app, the more trees they plant in real life.
